Professional Background
Natalie Gavi, MS, RDN is a Los Angeles based nationally recognized non-diet nutrition expert and lifelong equestrian.
​
She got her start studying nutrition at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she received her Bachelor in Science Degree in Nutrition Science. She went on to complete her dietetic internship and Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.

With over 1200 hours of supervised practice during her internship, 8 years of clinical experience at world-class hospitals including Cedars Sinai and UCLA, 8 years of providing equestrian and non-equestrian athletes with highly individualized sports nutrition coaching, and with actively completing ongoing continuing education, she is uniquely qualified to provide equestrians of all levels with the support and guidance needed to meet any health and performance goal.

As a leading expert in the equestrian nutrition field, Natalie has helped hundreds of equestrians improve their performance in the saddle, overcome eating disorders and disordered eating, move up the levels, and feel their best both in and out of the saddle.

She is dedicated and passionate about helping amateur and professional equestrians feel confident and empowered to make food choices that help support their health and performance goals without a side of guilt or stress.

When she's not working, you could find her at the barn hanging out with her OTTB Stella, hiking with her mini doxie Luna, or curled up with a good book with her Siamese cat, Erice.
